University Guidance has been established by Phil Moss Consulting (PMC) to provide a high quality, bespoke and independent service that supports students and families throughout the university application process.
PMC’s founding director, Phil Moss, has worked in post-16 education since 1990 in various admissions, guidance, marketing and project management roles for universities and educational organisations. Phil was Student Recruitment Manager at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1999 to 2007, and was the initial Project Manager of the ground-breaking ‘Pathways to Law’ widening access programme from 2007 to 2013, working with The University of Law (formerly The College of Law) and The Sutton Trust. Previously, Phil spent 9 years working within the Academic Registry at Liverpool John Moores University.
Since the turn of the millennium, Phil has advised thousands of students regarding their study options in the UK, the US, mainland Europe and further afield. He has worked with students at numerous state, private and international schools including Albemarle College, Antwerp International School, Hurtwood House, Lancing College, Lycée Français London, Malvern College, Rugby School, St George’s Switzerland, Shrewsbury School, South Hampstead High School, Sir George Monoux College, UWC Adriatic, UWC Atlantic College, UWC Red Cross Nordic, Wilson’s School Wallington.
