Mentoring

Many students find the transition from school/college to university a challenging time, and some benefit from having a mentor to guide them through the process.

University Guidance offers a mentoring service that can cover this initial period of adjustment for a student, and it can be extended for as long as the support is required. Indeed, some students may discover that a mentor is useful throughout their entire time at university, assisting with internship and job applications, for example, as well as the day-to-day challenges of academic study, assignment research and writing, and revision planning.

Mentoring is provided on a request-only basis, and the fee will be determined based upon the level and frequency of support required.
